Have Flash? Have VMware? You can get PernixData to accelerate your Block based storage!

Now, I have been looking at various technologies trying to find ways to improve the storage performance in my homeLAB! PernixData offers a possible solution that is easy to install, manage and works with Block storage or any storage for that matter?

Installed via VUM into the VMKernel it will use Host based SSD to create what they call a FVP (Flash Virtual Platform). It works with either SSD Disks or SSD PCIe cards or a mix or the two in the Hosts.
